When is the best time to visit Tanzania for a safari?
Tanzania offers incredible safari experiences year-round, with different seasons offering unique highlights:
- April – May (Long Rains): Some lodges close, but this is a great time for private safaris, stunning photography, and exceptional value.
- June – October (Dry Season): Peak wildlife viewing as animals gather around water sources. This is also the best time for the Great Migration in the Serengeti.
- November – March (Green Season): Lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and excellent birdwatching. Short rains are usually brief and followed by clear skies.

What is the payment process?
We work with a trusted administration company that securely handles all payments.
What is your cancellation policy?
This varies depending on the accommodation, but typically:
- Cancellations within 60 days: 100% fee.
- Cancellations 90+ days before travel: 10% fee.
Do you offer travel insurance?
No, we do not provide travel insurance. All guests must arrange their own medical and travel insurance before departure.

Are safaris safe?
Yes, as long as you follow your guide’s instructions. While you are in the wild, our expert guides prioritise your safety and well-being. Listen to your guide, respect the wildlife and you’ll have a safe and unforgettable experience.
What vehicles do you use for game drives?
We use Toyota Land Cruisers, custom-designed for comfort, safety and optimal wildlife viewing.
How do I get to Tanzania?
You can fly into:
- Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Best for northern Tanzania safaris (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire).
- Mwanza (MWZ) – Ideal for western Serengeti safaris.
- Dar es Salaam (DAR) – Great for extending your trip to Zanzibar.
We provide seamless airport pickups and transfers to your safari destinations.
Do I need a visa for Tanzania?

What should I pack for my safari?
We’ll provide a detailed packing list, but essentials include:
- Neutral-coloured clothing (lightweight and breathable).
- Comfortable walking shoes.
- A good camera and binoculars.
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses.

What vaccinations do I need to travel to Tanzania?
Always check with a your GP for updated advice. For travel to Tanzania, the required vaccine is Yellow Fever (if coming from a country with risk of transmission). Recommended vaccines include Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Rabies, Cholera, MMR, Tetanus and Malaria prophylaxis.
All lodges will provide mosquito nets, spray and insect-proof tents, but we also recommend using insect repellent and wearing long sleeves in the evenings.
